With that text still selected, right click, go to “Styles” and “Update Normal to Match Selection.” Now your whole document is using the “Normal style.” Make sure there's no space before or after the paragraph, and justified text. Recently (2014) I've noticed that Createspace book spines are much more glued-together, so the gutter may need to be a little bigger. The "Gutter" is extra space on the inside. I set this one to 1" margins on the top and bottom (a bit too much on the top).
